Gauri couldn't move.

Aryan's silence had answered the question she was afraid to ask.

Gauri: “You knew about me before we met?”

Aryan lowered his eyes.

Aryan: “Yes.”

Gauri's eyes filled with tears.

Gauri: “Then everything between us… was planned?”

Aryan: “No. Not everything.”

He stepped closer, but Gauri moved back.

Gauri: “Then why did you come into my life?”

Aryan took a deep breath.

Aryan: “Because I was searching for the truth about my family. And every clue led me to you.”

Gauri looked at the old photograph in her hands.

Gauri: “What happened between your family and my parents?”

Aryan hesitated.

Aryan: “Twenty-five years ago, your father and my father were business partners. Something happened between them… something that destroyed both families.”

Gauri: “What happened?”

Aryan's expression hardened.

Aryan: “There was a betrayal.”

Gauri shook her head.

Gauri: “Whose betrayal?”

Before Aryan could answer, his phone rang.

He glanced at the screen.

His face suddenly changed.

Gauri: “Who is it?”

Aryan answered the call.

A man's voice came from the other side.

Unknown Man: “If you tell Gauri the whole truth, she won't just lose her family… she'll lose you too.”

Aryan's eyes widened.

Aryan: “Who are you?”

The call ended.

Gauri stared at him.

Gauri: “Aryan… what happened?”

Aryan slowly looked at her.

For the first time, fear was visible in his eyes.

Aryan: “Someone knows that I've told you the truth.”
